Three of the herbs most associated with the end of the Ayurvedic day, together with a well-absorbed magnesium glycinate. Everything here is taken in the second half of the day, so the routine is simple: nothing to remember before lunch.

How to take it, day to day
Morning
- Tulsi (Holy Basil) — 1 capsule with breakfast if you want tulsi through the day, otherwise leave it until the afternoon.
Evening
- Organic Ashwagandha — 1 tablet after your evening meal. Traditionally the root is taken with something warm.
- Magnesium Glycinate — 1 capsule about an hour before bed, with a glass of water.
Timing conventions in Ayurveda are conventions, not rules. The single thing that matters most is taking it at the same time each day, because that is the routine you will actually keep. Always follow the recommended daily portion printed on each individual pack, and never exceed it.
Your 90-day course
We have written this kit as a course rather than a pile of bottles. The point of adding products one at a time is simple: if something does not agree with you, you know exactly which one it was.
- Days 1 to 7 — one at a time. Start with the magnesium glycinate on its own, one capsule in the evening. Nothing else. A week is long enough to know how it sits with you, and if anything does not agree with you, you know exactly which product it was.
- Days 8 to 21 — add the ashwagandha. One tablet after your evening meal, alongside the magnesium. Keep the timing consistent; the same hour every night is more useful than the exact hour.
- Days 22 to 90 — the full routine. Add the tulsi. Most people take it in the afternoon rather than the morning so the whole kit sits in the second half of the day.
- Day 90 — review. Three months is a fair trial for any herb. Decide what you are keeping and what you are dropping, then reorder just that as a Monthly Plan rather than buying the whole kit again.
How long the kit lasts, and when to reorder
The magnesium and the ashwagandha run about 60 days each at one a day, the tulsi about 60 days. Taken as the routine above, the kit lasts roughly two months.
Every product in this kit is also sold on its own, and most are available as a Monthly Plan — one, two or three months at a time, at a lower price per pack. Once you know what you are keeping, that is usually the cheaper way to continue.
Nutrition information
Contains magnesium. Magnesium contributes to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Under UK law we may only state nutrition and health claims that appear on the Great Britain Nutrition and Health Claims Register, and those claims belong to the specific nutrient rather than to the product as a whole. Where a kit contains no nutrient with an authorised claim, we say so rather than implying something we are not permitted to state. Everything else on this page describes what the ingredients are, where they come from and how they are traditionally prepared.
The ingredients, in detail
Organic Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera)
Part used: Root. When it is taken: Evening, after food.
Certified organic root, pressed into a 670mg tablet. Ashwagandha is one of the most widely cultivated herbs in India and its Sanskrit name translates roughly as the smell of a horse, a reference to the strong scent of the fresh root. In the tradition it is prepared as a powder and stirred into warm milk at the end of the day.
Magnesium Glycinate (Magnesium bisglycinate)
Part used: Mineral, chelated. When it is taken: Evening.
Magnesium bound to the amino acid glycine. This chelated form is gentler on the stomach than magnesium oxide or citrate, which is why it is the form most people choose for a dose taken late in the day. Vegetarian capsule.
Tulsi (Holy Basil) (Ocimum sanctum)
Part used: Leaf. When it is taken: Any time.
Tulsi is the plant most often grown at the threshold of an Indian home and is treated as sacred in Hindu practice. The leaf is bitter and clove-like. Traditionally it is drunk as a tea through the day rather than taken as a single dose.
Questions people ask
Do I have to take all three every day?
No. The kit is built so you can start with one and build up, and plenty of people settle on two of the three. That is a perfectly good outcome and it is why we sell every product in the kit separately as well.
Why is everything in the evening?
Because that is when the Ayurvedic tradition takes these particular herbs, and because a routine you do once a day at a fixed time is one you actually keep. The tulsi is the only flexible one.
How is buying the kit different from buying the products separately?
You get exactly the same sealed retail packs — nothing is decanted or repackaged — for £8.97 less. You also get the routine and the 90-day plan above, which is the part most people actually want.
What if I miss a day?
Take it as normal the next day. Do not double up to catch up.
Can I take this alongside other supplements?
Usually, but check the labels for overlapping ingredients so you are not taking two of the same thing. If in doubt, speak to a pharmacist.
Can I take this if I am on medication?
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before starting any food supplement if you take prescribed medication, or if you are under medical supervision. We are not able to advise on interactions.
Where do these products come from?
All of them are made in India by established manufacturers and shipped to us in the UK. Each pack carries its own manufacturer, batch code and best-before date, which you can read on the pack when it arrives.
Is everything in the kit vegetarian?
Check each individual pack, which carries its own full ingredient list and allergen declaration. Capsule shells vary by manufacturer.
How is the kit delivered?
As separate sealed retail packs in one parcel, shipped from India to your UK address.
Suitability, storage and allergens
- Each product keeps its own retail pack, so the full ingredient list, allergen declaration, nutritional information and best-before date are on the pack itself.

- Not suitable for children under 18.
