How to take it, day to day

Morning

• Manjistha — Half a teaspoon stirred into water, juice or a smoothie. It is bitter and astringent, so a smoothie is the easiest route.
• Neem and Turmeric — 1 capsule with breakfast.
• Biotin Gummies with Zinc — Follow the count on the pack — chew, do not swallow whole.

Timing conventions in Ayurveda are conventions, not rules. The single thing that matters most is taking it at the same time each day, because that is the routine you will actually keep. Always follow the recommended daily portion printed on each individual pack, and never exceed it.

Your 90-day course

We have written this kit as a course rather than a pile of bottles. The point of adding products one at a time is simple: if something does not agree with you, you know exactly which one it was.

1. Days 1 to 7 — the gummies only. The easiest possible start, and the product carrying the authorised nutrition claims.
2. Days 8 to 21 — add the neem and turmeric. One capsule with breakfast.
3. Days 22 to 90 — add the manjistha powder. Half a teaspoon in a smoothie. Start at a quarter teaspoon if the taste is a lot; it is a genuinely bitter root.
4. Day 90 — review. Skin and hair are slow. Three months is the minimum sensible trial for anything in this category, which is why this kit is built as a 90-day course rather than a 30-day one.

How long the kit lasts, and when to reorder

The 100g manjistha powder is roughly 40 servings. The neem and turmeric runs about 60 days. Check the gummy pack for its own count. Roughly six to eight weeks on the full routine.

Every product in this kit is also sold on its own, and most are available as a Monthly Plan — one, two or three months at a time, at a lower price per pack. Once you know what you are keeping, that is usually the cheaper way to continue.

Contains biotin and zinc. Biotin contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, normal skin and normal mucous membranes. Zinc contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, normal skin and normal nails, and to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Manjistha (Rubia cordifolia)

Part used: Root. When it is taken: Morning, in water.

Indian madder, a climbing plant whose root gives a deep red dye and is one of the classical Ayurvedic skin herbs. Sold here as certified organic loose powder, which is how it is traditionally taken. Bitter and astringent; mix into water, juice or a smoothie.

Neem and Turmeric (Azadirachta indica + Curcuma longa)

Part used: Leaf + rhizome. When it is taken: Morning, with food.

A two-herb combination from Grenera, an Indian producer that grows and processes on its own certified farms in Tamil Nadu.

Biotin Gummies with Zinc (Biotin + zinc)

Part used: Nutrients. When it is taken: Any time.

A chewable format, included because the easiest supplement to keep taking is the one you look forward to. Contains added folic acid.

Questions people ask

How do I take a loose powder?

Half a level teaspoon into a small amount of water, juice or a smoothie, stirred well. Manjistha does not fully dissolve — it suspends — so drink it fairly promptly.

How long before I should judge it?

Hair grows roughly a centimetre a month and skin cells turn over on a similar timescale, so nothing in this category is a two-week proposition. Give it the full 90 days.

Will the manjistha stain?

It is a red dye root, so treat it like turmeric — do not mix it in your best white mug.

How is buying the kit different from buying the products separately?

What if I miss a day?

Take it as normal the next day. Do not double up to catch up.
